We’ll kick off the meeting with introductions and key updates, followed by a spotlight on Red Ribbon Week—highlighting school-based prevention efforts, community engagement opportunities, and the Planting the Promise initiative. Planting the Promise is a community initiative that coincides with Red Ribbon Week (October 23–31), where participants plant red tulip bulbs or flower seeds in the fall as a symbol of their commitment to a healthy, drug-free life. These blooms emerge in the spring, serving as a living reminder of hope, growth, and the promise to make positive, drug-free choices. Attendees will also receive a special Red Ribbon Week gift to help spread awareness!
We’ll officially launch the annual Coalition Assessment Tool (CAT) survey to gather feedback on our coalition’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth. The survey will be open through October 31, 2025, with a QR code available during the meeting. A link will also be emailed to formal and informal coalition members and committed partners—your input is essential and greatly appreciated.
To receive the CAT survey link, email Coalition Coordinator Kelley Groen-Sieckmann at kelley.groen@esd112.org.
