Central Vancouver Coalition January General Meeting – VIRTUAL ONLY

Central Vancouver Coalition Members & Partners,

Due to the inclement weather, the general coalition meeting scheduled for today—Thursday, January 18 from 2:30-4:00p — will be VIRTUAL ONLY. You  may join us on Zoom using this meeting link https://esd112.zoom.us/j/87262279619.  Our meetings are open to the community, and we encourage inviting others to join us for our meetings.

 1/18 Meeting Agenda

We have a special meeting planned featuring a Collective Impact presentation and Prevention work group facilitated by Nicole Hamberger, Community Engagement Specialist with SWACH and Coordinator for Prevention Recovery Alliance Clark County (PRACC). PRACC seeks to collaborate with organizations and our community through a Collective Impact Model (CIM) to reduce and prevent youth substance use and to achieve zero overdose or drug-related deaths in Clark County!

  • CIM is a transformative and collaborative approach to tackling complex social problems.
  • CIM creates a powerful force for system-level change through shared learning, united efforts to advance equity, and working towards a common agenda.

About Central Vancouver Coalition: We aim to increase community organization in Central Vancouver through monthly community meetings, training, and collaboration with other local organizations. These meetings are held from 2:30–4:00 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of the month, except for December and July. The meetings are hybrid, where attendees can join in person at Bridgeview Resource Center or virtually on Zoom. Meetings are open to all community members, and formal membership is not required to attend. If you are interested in attending a meeting or getting involved, email Coalition Coordinator Kelley Groen-Sieckmann.
