FREE Year-Round Disposal of Medications and Sharps

The importance of disposing your medication SAFELY

Did you know the most common drugs misused by teens & adults come from family & friends’ home medicine cabinets? 75% of opioid misuse starts with using medication that wasn’t prescribed for them. Safely disposing of unwanted & expired medication using a take-back program or event protects loved ones & keeps medicines out of the wrong hands. (Source: Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration)

Did you know medications not disposed of properly end up in our waterways? Let’s work together to keep these substances away from youth & out of our waterways.
