COALITION ASSESSMENT TOOL (CAT):

The Coalition Assessment Tool (CAT) is an annual survey administered in October among all current Coalition members to gather information about the organization and functioning of the Central Vancouver Coalition. The aggregate data helps the Coalition identify what is going well, what needs to be addressed, or what can be done differently. The goal for the annual CAT survey is to have 80% membership participation.

TRAUMA-INFORMED PREVENTION TRAINING:

Jessie Spinney (she/her pronouns), Prevention Program Supervisor with YWCA Clark County and a Central Vancouver Coalition Steering committee member, will provide an overview of why trauma-informed care should be at the forefront of any kind of prevention work, particularly youth substance use prevention. This training will provide an overview of what trauma-informed care is, how trauma and substance use are related, and ways we can incorporate trauma-informed care into prevention work to better serve our communities.
